From the founder

My name is Ryan Bratby, and I’m a local lad, 43 years of age.
For almost half of my life, I struggled with addiction. When I was younger, I couldn’t fully see what drink and drugs were costing me. Even when I lost things, I always seemed to bounce back, so the consequences never felt serious enough to change.
But as the years passed and my addiction worsened, the things that should have mattered most never stood a chance. My family, my home, and my work were all gone.
Eventually, I found a solution through a 12-step programme, something that not only gave me back the things I had lost, but returned me to sanity.
Today, all I want to do is help another person. I know through lived experience how hard it is to admit the depth of your problems, not only to yourself but to somebody else. When I finally wanted help, I also struggled to know where to turn or what support was available.
That is why I created Phoenix Recovery Hub.
The aim is simple: to bring together the services, support, and organisations people may need into one place. Whether someone is struggling themselves, supporting a loved one, or simply searching for answers, I want this platform to make that first step easier.
If just one person finds peace, hope, or a fresh start through this site, then every bit of time, money, and love invested into it will have been worth it.
I hope everyone who visits Phoenix Recovery Hub begins their journey towards a happier, healthier, and more peaceful life.
